Marty Klein: Sexual Intelligence

Teleseminar

November 4, 2013
noon-1pm PST
or via recording
Hi--

Many men and women are, variously, sexually compulsive, impulsive, in denial, secretive, self-destructive, taking risks---and they can't seem to stop. As you know, I've criticized the "sex addiction" model extensively. So:

If it isn't "sex addiction," what is it? And how do we treat it?

In my last teleseminar of 2013, I'll offer a coherent, practical approach to these troubling cases. If you prefer, you can download the seminar and listen at your convenience rather than attending in real time. For information, see bit.ly/145A9Jv. I can also be reached at (650) 856-6533.

Warmly,
Marty

MARTIN ZITTER ON MATE SWAPPING, GROUP SEX, AND SWINGING

Sexual mate swapping, group sex, and swinging are popular terms for sexual pluralism or social sex. Sexual pluralism is non-reproductive sexual activity with more than two persons present or participating. Although sexual pluralism has long been practiced by many cultures, it has only recently come to light as a researchable phenomenon. The following are a few varieties of sexual pluralism in the U.S. today: The Secret Affair - uni or bilateral. Usually characterized by guilt and apprehension within a primary relationship. Serial Polygamy - String of broken monogamous type marriages. Mate Swapping - Usually wife swapping. two or more couples switch off and retire to private rooms. Swinging - Open group sex. Lots of people, lots of orgasms. Strict anonymity generally recognized. Open-Ended Sensuality - Pure sensual enjoyment which may even transcend genital sexuality.
